Service Shop Recommendations in DC/VA

I have searched this forum for service shop recommendations in NW DC (live) or in and around Fairfax, VA (work), but have come up short. I have had my '07 E90 serviced at both Arlington and Fairfax BMW and have had so-so experiences with both. Now that my free-maintenance warranty is up I was hoping to find a good service shop that provides excellent BMW-specific service and that does not charge the ridiculous amounts that BMW dealers charge. Thanks in advance.

I have no experience with Fairfax Service Center.

I've taken several cars to Alexandria Bavarian. They do good work, but have an attitude and communication style that certainly isn't for everyone.
