Front Fender Curb Rash; need help!!
Hey all just recently curbed my front fender when pulling into a local shopping center. I knew the Close parking spot was too good to be true
So my fender is all rashed up and I was wondering if theres anyway to make it look any better? Like be able to get those white/scratch looking things away. Theres not much black as you can see so I would be fine with just the black marks noticeable and the white/scratching away. Ive sat at it for an hour straight with a wet cloth trying to rub some of the white color away but it doesn't go away. It looks like its not color but actually indents/scratches Its not too big but im just one of those guys that once one thing is messed up, to me the whole car is messed up. Any help is much appreciated!!! Thank you |

From a detailing perspective I think it would be hard to hide that, particularly if it is going to bug you. I would consult a good paint/body shop. I had another vehicle with a similar curb rash and they were able to paint that area and blend it in nicely without having to paint the whole bumper. Good luck!

can some one give a link on the E90 Aero lip? Also how much is it? and does it just clip on or would I have to fully disassemble to front fender?
EDIT: Also what about the front fender Splitters? Are those snap on or install? I have a 06 325 (Pre lci) Last edited by NorthernCAE90; 10-11-2013 at 01:42 PM.. |

That is not the fender, it's the fascia. Any way time for a respray. And Docking is not acceptable unless it's a SeaRay.

Go on ebay and type in e90 splitters look for the ones that are 109 for emotors2000. They have good paint match and quality parts. It should cover it up perfectly. I would recommend to get them wrapped in clear vinyl to protect from chips. They were offering a forum discount so if you are interested send them a message and ask if they still have the forum discount.

SeaRay [URL="http://media.channelblade.com/boat_graphics/eprowebsitemedia/704/high-res/324029.html"] Docking - The joining of two vessels or vessel to mooring or quay Or in most automotive cases stuffing the front fascia into a stupid high concrete parking block

Not trying to jack the thread but I have a similar issue. Do you guys know if aero lip would be the same for e90/e92? I have e90 and can get my hands on the aero lip already painted but it's from e92. I'd appreciate any input guys!

1. You should always park far away to avoid door dings, I don't know what on EARTH you were thinking about that close parking spot.
2. You can DIY it with paint from dealer or silver spray paint, or get a bodyshop involved. Looks like you have holes in the front bumper anyways to get rid of.

Haha ty guys for advice and help loving the Commentary as well! lol no I didn't pull up hella far up or else my whole bumper would be the same way (as you can see in the far back pick its not) It was one of those Close up parking spots that has sidewalk on the leftside and in the front, So I seen it at a late second and turned just slightly too late as you can see , I really wanna get those holes filled, but I found a pretty decent DIY on here to fill them myself with out spending hundreds. Most likely gonna go the splitters route.
