New mods to my E92 LCI - both show and go
I know a lot of you look for my posts and, well it's been a few months. I did some modifications to my car over the past few months and here we have it.
The "go" - my custom brake cooling by VAC Motorsports .... Routed through OEM brake ducts. VAC was very professional, the quality of work is outstanding. They build and service real race cars after all... one of the reasons I go there. On top of this my brakes have high-temp fluid (Total), PFC 08 pads and SS brake lines. Very reliable stopping power. I've gone from 120-140MPH > 60MPH about 1,000 times without a problem so far. Naturally I can't turn full lock without rubbing anymore, perhaps 3/4 of the way there. ...all so I can keep up with actual race cars: If you want to watch: (Shh - don't tell my conscious self I admitted to not having a real race car! ). "Show" - here's my full LED interior conversion - HighPerformanceBulbs. They look quite futuristic. The difference is astounding. (It's misleading to call this show because it really does add a lot of horsepower ). Enjoy, I may have more interesting stuff as the winter months go on. Awesome car and video, I also got me some LED Everything and it is a big difference at night time. By the way did you remove your rear seats? and what's that rattling noise in the video?

I'm not overdriving the car right now so I don't have anything major planned (probably would make sense to get a different car entirely if I was outdriving the car despite the upgrades). I'm switching springs soon (hopefully) and getting an SSK. Too much slop in the stock shift linkage. Thanks! Quote:
Appreciated sir. Thanks man ... seats are helpful on the track. No substitute for a BMW and a nice track - thanks! Thanks Alan.
