Like what? It's a tire shop in clever. He used to be a Mercedes master mechanic but opened up a tire shop. He does turbo swaps and alot of other stuff on the side.
He had a new sti with everything possible done by him.
Very trustworthy and anal bout his work. Which I like

I may have to take my 335xi down there to get RBs done, that's half what people in KCMO want to charge.

I was lucky to stumble upon him. His shop is small so he has low overhead, he does it himself while his employees do the tire side of the job. I checked up on car twice while he was doing it and like I said he's very precise and takes his time.
He charged me a flat fee.
I ended up getting the turbos swapped, and my oil housing filter gasket changed. He only charged an extra $100 to change the gasket. Which was fine by me.
He also took off the front bumper and removed the IC and everything to make it easier to get to everything. That also made it to where he could see all the lines and what not to see if anything else needed to be replaced.
Luckily my cars lines look brand new.

Very pleased with him and Id go back in a heartbeat

Sounds like a great guy to deal with, Machens just charged me $300 for absolutely nothing and told me my wastegates are "fine". I will definitely go with him if I need any major work done on my car

I ended up going to Machens instead of STL, too busy with school to drive that far. They didn't do too bad of a job, I only needed the rears done and oil change. Breaks still squeak though, not sure about that. They did have it done super quick and got a 700 mi old 328xi f30 loaner

Bump. Herman you want to help me install some front splitters some time? Maybe we can throw em on and then go on a cruise when the weather warms up this spring.
