What needs to be modified on 328i LOWER MESH grill to fit on 335i...

AS TOPIC STATES....
If i was to get 328i black mesh grills from TISCHER, what needs to be modified for it to fit with the oil cooler?

well if you know the e92 328i & 335i are the same, so it is going to be a direct replacement no modifying needed.lol

The issue is on the right side where it covers up the oil cooler, the portion behind the mesh needs to come out!

there is a thing blocking on the passager side mesh grill for 328
but the 335i is freely open to let the air get into the oil cooler
i have seen ppl drill holes thru the black thing to let the air flow into the oilcooler

Yup, you can dremmel it out, or just drill some holes. So long as there's enough air going through, you should be good.

depending how your looking at it(from inside the car or facing the car) is the right side the passenger side?

When referring to a car, you always base left or right as if you were sitting in the driver's seat.

I swapped mine out from the 328. No mods needed unless you have an oil cooler then drill some holes for air.

IMO painted the ones on the car is a better option...PITA to take off the bumper especially if you have cold weather package....My paint has held up perfectly with no chips in them, make sure you buy paint for plastics and apply many many coats!
