I bought a 7" VRSF First Gen when i basically got my DPs.

But i never put it on. I don't like the idea of cutting off any plastics for Warranty purposes.

To be honest mate, a tune, intake is enough for me for now. I WANTED more power, but i am pretty content. If anything goes wrong, it goes straight back to the dealer... no hassle with DPs etc... blah blah. I may look into a 5" VRSF intercooler as they are easily swappable and no modifying is required to fit them.

I had all these performance plans, but it has more than enough power for the streets for the time being.

Sumil's given me a week before my parts go back up for sale.. I give myself 3 weeks LOL!

Sorry mate, I sold it off ages ago!!! Good thing too, VRSF have redesigned their end tanks for better, smoother flow!!! So I see a 5" in my future.

7" is a little unnecessary if you dont track... also less pressure drop and we don't live in a sily hot country anyway

Yep absolutely love it.
It sounded great when i had the DPs on.

I love the functionality of being able to close the exhaust flat when i want more silence and then the ability with the jb4 to open the flap for some noise.

I hate other exhausts because of drone possibility and this new modified PE exhaust method seems to be proven and gives great results while retaining the ability to quieten it down at a flick of a switch

Yep. I love the loud cold start.

Every aftermarket exhaust i have heard for the 335i... ALL Have a little drone on the motorway.
I cannot deal with drone. I have done that through my civic days.
Even with the great sound proofing though, the aftermarket exhausts have that drone around 2200rpm.

But the PE method which retains the exhaust flat means you can close the flap on long motorway runs for peace and quiet, especially if i have my family in the car.
Also the ability to make the exhaust louder and quieter is a simple party trick that mates love haha

My mate has the PE and have to admit it is very subtle and raspy when booted, he hates the stares my car gets when I pull out of a junction though.

2. What bulbs have you gone for on your angel eyes - they seem a lot brighter and fuller than mine - I've got the CREE 20w LEDS

3. Did you upgrade your lights to LCI (ie Leds) or is your car post LCI already ie 2008/09?

4. Do you ever get pulled over for your tints or small number plate?

HAHA you know it !!! I arranged a meet last Nov with a bunch off the forum.
Was successful... ACHU and his mates took some pro photos and we all sat down for a nandos together and had good convo! Was a good laugh and didnt end till abuout 11pm on a Sun night

Tints are 35% all around. 20% on the rear windscreen actually.

2. - YOU HAVE PM

3. I upgraded my rear lights to LCI. Has to be done! One of the best facelifting mods along with headlights imo of course

4. Never have any issues for the plates or tints. TOUCH WOOD
if i drive around my own areas, police recognise me and dont cause issues... but if i start venturing to dodgy areas, police to notice a lot more. But i have been lucky so far. Never pulled over for the plate or tints

Its not loud normally at all, even with the BOV but, when you hit the throttle from a standing start its a smile fest.

I want my surrounds blacked out, not sure how long that would take you to do?

Love your lights, upgraded mine with brighter leds but they nowhere near as bright as yours.
