Gaskets

I was wondering if anyone puts any conditioner on the door, trunk and sun roof gaskets to keep them pliable? I have seen old cars with rotted out gaskets and I would like to prevent this. What are you guys using? I would prefer a product I could pick up at my local auto parts store or walmart.

Thanks

You can't get it at most chain stores but einszett Gummi Pflege is the best I have used for restoring rubber seals.

Don't use a regular rubber protectant unless you like squeaking noises.
