thanks Bubbles, yea im happy myself... i dont like to bring my car to the dealer esp for small things like this, it seems i always have to make sure the job is done right, im a paranoid guy with my car.
hopefully if anyone got shakin headlights this will help, 4 screws holding it from the top, and a new bracket from march 07 on, on the bottom of the headlight holding it, which prevents any shaking.

just goes to show you that you can find some lazy slacker half assed worker anywhere even working on expensive cars - some people just don't give a shit it seems!

yes it does, make the whole dealership look bad aswell. but i reported all the problems so this time im hoping they will take care of it. i just never knew, and im gonna guess the tech didnt know, that cars from march on had these bracket support arms installed.

I have this same issue with the headlights shaking when I'm driving in the freeway.

How do you find out the production date of your car?

should be on the drivers door sill... but if u have the problem, just go to the dealer and tell them for this recall, so they can install the brackets. they will need to remove the front bumper to do the install.

Anyone know if this also applies to E90's? My 2007 E90 is doing this as well.

Thanks.

what's the easiest way to tell your headlights are shaking as you drive? I never really paid much attention

my left headlight doesnt have the 2 screws on top, whereas my right one does

I notice a little shake to my headlamps' reflection off a car in front of me sometimes. Looks like it's loose in the housing.

Is this the problem you're talking about? It is one of the few pet peeves I have with this car. That and the rattle in my exhaust when I start it up.

well, i have all 4 bolts on my top headlight, and both brackets under my headlights now since they fixed it...

i noticed the shaking right away when they first repaired my headlight and didnt install the bracket.
as per the recall, only after march cars get the brackets under the headlight, and the bolts on top.

To use profanity shows immaturity.
Also, not appropriate for this forum!
