** Help Identify possible oil leak / pics inc ***

Hey guys when i did a oil change notice oil at the rear of engine near the steptronic transmission. It seems to be leaking ever so slowly.

the oil filter gasket , sump gasket has all been replaced about a year ago .

im assuming by the pics it could be the sump gasket or the rear seal? Any ideas from the pics would be greatly appreciated so I have some sort of idea what the problem is and how much it may cost. Thanks

Looks like my rear main leak which I'm currently changing. Could be an oil pan too.

it is a waste of time with just those pictures. you need to remove the underbody panels and examine the whole engine bay. just get it on a lift... the oil leak could be from one of the many things.

I have an Xi was quoted 1500$ plus parts. Yuck did it today myself. Parts were 150 and it took about 8 hours.

Possibly a rear main seal, a turbo inlet seal, or oil pan gasket assuming that the previous repairs were properly cleaned up.
