Golf tee mod

Yes I know there's a million thread/post about the golf tee mod But Idgf. Maybe I'm getting the Concept wrong. as my understanding The golf tee mod keep the valve open all the time, that's where my confusion comes in. Doesn't the valve open a minute or two later after u start the car and stays open for the duration of the drive. At least in mine it does. So why the hell am I hearing that the exhaust sound better, or car feels a bit quicker, better exhaust flow or this or that it's rubbish I tell ya it's rubbish. Comment as you see fit

The flap opens after 2 minutes at idle, it then closes again as u start driving and only opens up after 3000rpm.
Simple as that.

The valves stay close to warm up the engine faster during start up. However if you normally drive under 3k that valve will never open up. So the valve does not stay open after start up it will close while driving
