Laptop issues

Right, my laptop refused to fire up earlier.

STrted with ''toshiba'' etc then would not go to the sign in screen but just blank.

Took battery out and tried again and it tried to start in safe mode but failed and said its needs to go back to tosh.

Tried again and it works?

paranoid about shutting it down now? shall i leave it permanatly on from now on?

Its a year old and must be due a service? any preventative measures i can take to preserve it?

How can i make sure it does not fail on me in the near future?

any help mucho appreciated

Is it just laptop issues or do you have other issues?

How many miles do you have since the last service? When was the last time you checked the dipstick?

You don't need to 'service' laptops Carloswah.

If it's working then just make sure your data (photos mp3's etc) is all backed up and don't fret.

If it happens again, write down the error message and google it. Within knowing exactly what it said when you fired it up in safe mode it's difficult to find out if others have experienced your problems.

Yep - too much porn in your internet explorer history.

You will need to put it in thru a 60 degree prewash/wash - but dont forget to tape up the floppy drive slot first!
