I see some more HP/TQ being made with FMIC+catback exhaust (maybe another 5-7rwhp/10-12rwTQ)
Sweet! =) I can't wait until I can get my hands on the flash soon!

So why no fmic or exhaust? those are two of the most common after market upgrades...

There be some extra power sitting in that car with an aftermarket FMIC and a little more timing

I Concur
Had a chance to do a before/after dyno comparison on my 535i N54 the other day. I'm running the BMS DCI, a custom catback system, and a $100 inline fuel pump ( AEM 320, custom to fit my lines ), holding hi and consistent PSI and factory dp, IC, etc...
To start, we, ( Terry ) ran 91 octane bone stock. Then we added the JB4 G5 ISO, BMS Flash, and 60% E85. Did a few adaption runs on map 5 which peaked out around 410rw. Then we kicked it over to map 7 and pushed it up a bit further. For kicks we ( T ) dialed boost up a bit further using map 6 and picked up a bit more power, but I had an original plug in #6 (I had only replaced 1-5, the 6th plug was broken, waiting for replacement, NGK 5992: Gap - .022 ) which would misfire at high RPM so we ( T ) left boost lower at redline. W O W !! I have to give Terry a BIG SHOUT OUT !! His Tunes are Amazing, his Customer Service is way above par E85 FTW And here are the pics to go with this Amazing Day !! Well, at least for me, http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=803678&page=2

Any educated guesses as to what power would be gained by adding the flash to a JB4 on an otherwise bone stock car (no dci, stock exhaust, etc.)? I don't wanna change any hard parts till warranty expires...
Is the boost pump a prerequisite for running e85 on this flash? |

Impressive work here. I know I'll be doing some research on this $95 fuel pump. I'm assuming there's a DIY out there somewhere. I'll find it.

you are misreading his question, he has a JB4, he is asking if he can stack Cobb on top of his JB4 with no bolt-ons and see gains, the answer is no.
