335i Auto Tran leak, DIY vs Shop ?
Hi all,
I need to take my 2007 335i(62k) in to have the AT looked at. It wouldn't engage in reverse and then wouldn't engage in drive. I got the yellow sprocket light. Both drive and reverse showed as N is display as if it was in Neutral. Turned car off, turned back on, no sprocket, engaged in drive and drove it home and parked. I haven't driven it since. So After searching I get either Harrison or Solo Motor Sports Or I could try the DIY route and order a kit and fluid but have no access to lifts. Anyone have a lift I could use? I've had nothing but good experiences with Solo Motorsports. A guy at Harrison had some 'tude problems on the phone with me once so I've never given them a chance really.

Have you thought about Markert Motor Works?
They have a V12 750 and an E46 up there right now both getting transmission overhauls. This is definitely their area of expertise and they have done a few Vargas and RB TT cars as well.
