staggered wheels are when the rear are wider than the fronts. E90's with sports package have staggered wheels.

Were you not worried about them screwing up the exterior? |

Nah, I knew they would be careful...but they did use a lot of 'lubricant' apparently because for a while everytime I put the window up there was some sort of line greasy line left on the window. But luckily it's gone now. |

The gap between the tire and wheel arch in a non-spot E90 is noticeable if you have a sport model to compare it to. The difference we noticed in our DC meet was that it was an extra finger (about 1-1.5cm) difference.

I'll post some pics of the non-sport Alpine white 325i with 162's Hope it helps. IMO I love the way it looks now. I had an IS300 slammed and gave me a headache all the way so I'm going into the stock-sport look!

I also just put on a brand new set of oem 162's on my 07 328i non sport this morning. I'll take some pics and post them soon. I can't really tell the difference from my non sport from my friends 07 335i which they came off from.

Your statement that the 162's are "best suited with lowered sport suspension" is simply your personal opinion. The 162's look great on either normal suspension or the lowered sport suspension. Having the 162's does not affect the car's performance differently on either suspension.

Here's mine (pre-drop, on non-zsp suspension) with 197s and rear spacers.

I thought the Sport package on any E90 328 had the same exact suspension as the non-sport.
I have ZSP on a 328xi sedan and I am planning on 162s either way, but are you guys sure its 15mm lower than non-ZSP, cuz I could swear I've read here many times that ZSP on E90 328 only adds sport seats and steering wheel, nothing else. Maybe thats just in the case of an xi whereas a 328i may have a lower suspension. Thanks!

You are confusing the sedans with the coupes... All E92's have sport suspension, regardless of sport-package or not.... All E90's have standard suspension and sport suspension with the sport package... Trust me, I made the mistake of buying a non-SP 325i only to swap it all out for the SP suspension. |

dmichael: correction the E92/E93 ZSP only adds sport seats and steering wheel (and increased limiter). The e90/e91 adds sport suspension.

I want to go with 8x18 non-stag all around and try to keep the 162's all year round instead of swapping. With the 225 footprint and X-drive, I should be ok when the white stuff starts falling from the sky. Thanks!
