Inside headlight lens yellowed?

Hey guys
I’ve got a 2007 335 with adaptive xenon headlights.
I’ve used 3m headlight kit, chrome polish with rotary and pad.

There’s a definite improvement, but it’s still not up to par. Little hazy, and yellowed. My eye test and touch test tell me the interior is weathered. Is that possible with a sealed headlight unit?

I’m dying for a crystal clear lens. I really think it makes the look sharp.

Has anyone had this experience and been able to remedy it?
I’m going to give it one last try with the “unconventional method posted in this sub forum. After that I’m lost
