I dunno but there has to be some truth to it because my shit was submerged for like a second but there should have been enough water to enter the charger port and ear phone jack...This shit is bullet proof against piss water.

i dropped my old iPhone 4 into a toilet of my piss. i dove right in after it then ran water over it and held it under the hand drier blower. it ended up working perfectly

i was fucked up...lol

thats happened to me twice... take it turn it off take it apart and put it in rice that sucks up all the water the worse thing you can do is turn it on trust me this happened to me it worked for a little after and then it died

If it was regular water it should be fine but urine is acidic and will burn especially for those that don't drink enough water and the urine is bright yellow. That will burn the electronics faster
