Tein said not to use rubber spring seats?

Okay ... I took my E90 to the shop to install my coilovers. We were working on the rear and found that the instructions did not show or say anything about the rear rubber spring seats. We then called Tein to ask them and they said not to use them! Metal on Metal ... No rubber seats ... that sound right?

I would use the rubber spring seats

The person you spoke to probably based information on the following guide.

This guide excludes the nuts for the upper mounts, therefore this is only the instructions for the Tein products
