with all due respect to bmw888 as a fellow member...

i'm not usually the type of person to shit on people's threads...but i have to be honest too, to hopefully help out other members.

i purchased one of these spoilers from bmw888, and had it painted by my body shop.

the fitment was so bad that the double-sided tape wouldn't even hold. the spoiler kept falling off. the whole spoiler was so warped, straight out-of-the-box, that it wouldn't sit flush with the trunk-lid on both sides at once. it was like a chair with one short leg. and the driver's side corner was so badly molded that it actually swooped up a bit, leaving a half-inch gap between the far-left tip of the spoiler and the trunk-lid. my body guy went so far as to call it "junk" upon seeing it. i kept my hopes up, which were crushed when he told me it wouldn't even stay on the damn car.

granted, this is partly my fault for not checking the fitment more carefully in person when i met with bmw888 to buy the part. i'm not usually this careless, but i definitely learned my lesson the hard way by wasting $95 on such a poor-quality item, not to mention the money it cost me to get it painted. i don't know if he's making these himself from a mold or what...from the original post he makes it sound like he only has one, but i already bought one and he keeps bumping the thread so i'm wondering now...

i feel like an idiot for not being more careful, and again i really hate to be "that guy" who shits on a person's classified thread, but i'm just hoping my experience and feedback in this post can save other members from wasting their money.

Honestly, if you just look at his picture he posted, you can tell that it will NEVER fit for shit... the fitment looks horrible in the picture.

I just didn't want to be the guy to come shit on someone's thread because I thought it was only one piece and whoever buys it will test fit it.

I have one of these on my car, I did not however buy it from bmw888....got if off ebay. Although fitment isn't perfect, it sits on the car properly without falling...just the corners aren't exactly flush with the trunk.

I guess it depends on which spoiler you get...

G you said EXACTLY what I was thinking. So I wanted him to post ACTUAL pics of it from the rear...but he flaked on doing so and now we know why.

Can see in this pic, it's hovering like half an inch on drivers side:

Haha yeah, that's the pic I saw and I was like damn.... I wanted to make a post, but I'm not the type of guy to shit on someones for sale thread.

I have seen threads of people running a similar spoiler though with semi-decent fitment.
