......for tomorrow.
A very good customer of mine, who owns a E46 M3 2004, is bored of the performance and wants a bit more oooopmh, so the 'supercharger' issue has been raised. I have spoken to Roy @CAA and he is bringing their demo car down tomorrow night. It is a 540BHP monster, but initially we will be fitting the 450BHP kit to my customers car(if he likes what he sees, which I cant see why not as he has the money burning a hole...), and then he can take it from there, power wise. Full write up and pics to follow tomorrow |

I`m sure you`ll enjoy it as much as your customer Olli, I`m running ~ 60 HP more than their demo car but here`s a graph showing some figures of mine to give you an idea (I`m around 1s quicker from 60-130 than an F430/M6/std GTR)
Roy`s car is a manual and I`m told the clutch is quite heavy. Is your customers car a manual or SMG and which kit are you looking at for 450 HP ? |

Hello Mike
The car is an 2004 Manual with 60k on it. It is the entry level ESS kit, which will be going on. Quite looking forward to the test drive Report and pics to follow Oli |

How very cool... what kind of £££ are we talking about for that power hike? Wonder if they come with an engine warranty?

The VT 440/50/60 is a great kit Olli I ran the VT 460 kit for a year with no problems at all, it never did make the full claimed power `tho due to not having any form of charge-cooling but ESS are releasing an Intercooler upgrade kit later this year.
Try and get a drive in a car with the VT450 kit if you can as there`s quite a jump from the VT450 to Roy`s Bananna. Sixspeed has his CFR 5252 kit on Ebay at the minute for just over £4K and would be a much better buy. CA or Simpson would charge ~ £1K to install it and the warranty is transferable. |
