Interior of the upcoming BMW PAS sedan photographed

Nothing out of the expected here, but heres a variation of the current BMW style interior towards the conservative family car. I personally do love the integration of the idrive screen on this car in the style of the X-cars, it seems like a better fit then the hump system of the E90s.

That looks like the interior of an X6

That looks like the interior of an X6...

Update:
1) That car has a HUGE driver's side rear view mirror.

2) It seems to be taller than that other car out there in the distance... a lot taller.

But the driver's side mirror says it all... this can't be a sedan, those are the mirrors of an X5.

One more:

Here are some X6 interior pics:

And X5.

So Bangle is determined to make all the models look different on the outside but doesn't care if all interiors are unified???

I like it better too. I just wish that they would integrate the dash and center console better like on the X3.

As much as I like our interiors...prob is...they ALL LOOK THE SAME. This looks indistinguishable from an X5's interior. Considering that the PAS looks like it takes influence from the Concept CS, you'd think BMW would've implemented an interior that also took some elements into consideration. Eh, whatever.

MB is doing the same with all their SUV interiors too. The ML, GL and R interiors all look nearly identical.

Im not sure but thats the same translation they had on the prototype X5 M model and other cars, this may be an M motor in testing because I doubt that would happen to an engine already in produciton

I prefer it if there's some distinction, not for any particular reason other than model distinction.

For instance: the 3, 5, 6, 7, and Z4 all have somewhat varied interiors, but when you check out the SUVs it's all deja vu.

I remember seeing this photo on the X5world... its a picture of an X5 Interior. The subject of the original thread, on X5world, was talking about a possible prototype to a X5m engine...

The interior of BMW's have been "Similar" or "identical" for years guys. This is really nothing new. It is the trend of all manufacturers because the type of layout of the interior is what each manufacturer believes that works best for consumers and is their trademark. The exterior, on the other hand, has to be changed for different models for obvious reasons and to accommodate the different dimensions of each model the interior will be tweaked.

No, it hasn't been going on for years. "Similar" is not "identical". I stated that this looks exactly like an X5, and judging from some posts made from others, it is an X5 interior. No BMW looks identical on the inside. They all share a basic foundation, but there's at least some key differences that make them look the part that's respectable to whatever class the vehicle might be in.
