I posted up dyno results a while back 408/453.. i got some hate and i ran low 12s at 114ish. People said the traps were too low etc. I explained that that was with the stock intercooler.
Oh well. Doesnt matter Heres what happened after i installed the ER fmic





my gf freaks out lol.. sorry poor vid but timeslips...

check out the time stamps. No cool down. Now thats consistent

Nothing Wrong with the stock intercooler if you add some meth..I ran 11.5's @122 consistently with the stock IC. But good work anyways.

116mph are pretty good for your mods, but I would've expected 118+. Oh well, great runs though.

Are you AWD? What tires are you using and on what wheels? Very impressive 60fts. These times are spot on with all of the other n54's out there except he's able to get his 60fts so low to get high 11 second passes. All the 2.0-2.2 60ft 335i's out there hitting 12.0-12.3 @ 116-118 would be running these times if they could launch like this guy.

I am guessing its awd and/or has lightweight wheels with extremely sticky street tires (flirting with drag radials - not slicks).

If he gets going on G5 ISO I think he will pickup some power. But for a heavier full weight 335i 11.8@116 isn't too shabby. A 135i would run 1-2mph faster with no other changes.

Looks like he has stock 18's with Nitto Invos, and its 2wd. Just a fantastic launch. Im jealous of the auto owners drag strip times, but must suck driving such a boring car in every other situation =)

stock rims and nitto invos with about half life left in them around 35psi I consistently cut 1.7x to low 1.8x. it's a tough technique. brake boost in 2nd until it wants to lurch forward.. around 3-3200 rpm. then I drop the brake and bump the gas in tandem ... within micro seconds (lol) I go full in as soon as I kno Im sticking. I get a few half chirps and I'm off. I have a lot of practice in this car lol.

yes sir. my g4 map 6 doesn't hold target well. with the G5 I expect mid 11s at 118-119 easy with no other changes. but I'm headed to Alaska for work for a few weeks so it'll have to wait

Wow that is a fantastic launch with crappy Nitto Invos. I had them on my n54 335i 6AT and they were terrible, even with the Wavetrak LSD. Upgraded to Michelin Pilot Super Sports and it completely transformed the car, particularly during the off-the-line launch. I bet you can improve on your launch even more with better tires.

Very interesting that your brakes can hold it on the line, that’s exactly what I do with my audi.

for my Audi I had to buy the biggest possible brakes that would fit 18” which were RS4 8 piston calipers (same setup as Lamborghini Gallardo) on 14.4” rotors and the car still wouldn’t hold on the line, then had to get the rears with stiffer calipers and 12.8” rotors, it still just barely holds when brake boosting, ask me about my 60’ , and 0-60 times…
