No, you have dual bank fuel delivery system. Because the sensors are reading the same on both sides now due to a single down pipe, the fuel management system will have issues adjusting the fuel delivery between the two banks, at least that was the assumption.

Apparently HPF doesn't feel that will be much of an issue if stage 1 won't get the manifold upgrade with the secondary fuel delivery. The last time I was over to HPF they had the mock up manifold and Chris was waiting for the intake to arrive. According to page 34, they have the manifold with the fuel rail injectors ready to go.

Time to take a short trip to get a peak... Every time I go the car has been in parts and turbo on the bench. Hopefully they have the car on the dyno in running order... I may have to leave my car with Chris while I go to India next month...

I don't think the computer uses the O2 sensors to that precision. How would it know which cylinder to increase/decrease the pulsewidth on from an O2 reading from 3 cylinders?

I thought your car had the stage 2 hardware and was pretty much running.
Atleast this way we'll kind of get an idea of the stock fuel system limitations with a piggyback.

I honestly do not see a problem with the single downpipe and dual oxigen sensors at all. Just mount the probes next to each other and not one after the other and it will be fine.

I'm in for the video They could just splice the two sensors together so they read exactly the same. This was common on a lot of cars like the NA Supra when you from NA (dual o2 sensors) to single manifold with a single o2 sensor.

I'm pretty sure i read somewhere that a few of the previous single turbo attempts did that and it didn't work because when the DME adjusts AFR in bank 1 and bank 2 sees the same delta the computer thinks something is wrong. Unfortunately, those same previous single turbo builders have all been very tight lipped about why they failed, so verifiable info is hard to come by.

We fired up Eric's N54 with our HPF turbo system today. Currently on the 335is a Precision 6265 but we can run any Precision T4 flanged turbo up to a 76 wheel. This car has the HPF front mount intercooler, Evolution Racewerks BOV pipe with HKS BOV and the HPF exhaust. It is also running the Vishnu PROcede and AEM gauges. We will have dyno results soon, so stay tuned.

John is dialing in Eric's HPF Single Turbo 335i today. I turned on the live feed for you guys to watch. He's doing very preliminary tuning on the car. One of the pulls he made 474rwhp on pump gas. Expect delays between dyno pulls as he's getting everything set up.

There is residual oil in the exhaust from before the upper check valve was installed. So it will smoke for awhile. If it continues smoking all day then we will have to implement our lower bypass valve like we did on our single turbo M3 kits.
