This past weekend was the third annual Drive4Corners BMW meet. This is the first year I didn't drive my shark, and I was really bummed no others sharks came--especially since it was the feature shirt (there are extras left btw)! The basic idea of the meet is to drive to a vacation destination, in this case Pagosa Springs, CO, talk cars and relax all weekend. The quality Inn offers reduced rates for attendees and hosts for the whole meet.

On saturday everybody drove to the top of wolf creek pass (11,000 ft) together and parked for photoshoot. There were 51 bmws at the top. But I have to say the caravan down south was the best park. Nothing quite like 15 bimmers carving up the canyons and blasting the straights for a couple hundred miles together!

This years attendance more than doubled and the neat thing about the meet is you can pick and choose what you want to do. I know many people went fishing or hiking or downtown to the shops at some point over the weekend. There were attendees from New Mexico, Arizona, Oklahoma, Texas, and even Maryland!

I will let the pictures do the talking.

Sure hated missing out on this run looks like it was a blast, but with our move from Germany to Denver and new babies just couldn't find the time, looking forward to next year!

Thanks for such a great event. It was fun meeting all you gear heads. Appreciate all the hard work that went into putting this thing on.

If any of you are interested, here is a link to the thread where I chronicled my whole trip to participate with you, and what went on before and after that weekend.
