LF: Walnut shell blasting ( GVA)

Hey local Van city members

I have been searching for a while now and I have found no one that does walnut shell blasting to clean the carbon build up on my valves!

It seems that everywhere else but BC has shop that do this procedure!!
Does anyone know a mechanic that offers walnut shell blasting?

I just need a shop that does this not really looking to clean it with liquid

Thanks

Whats wrong with liquid? I know it doesnt sound as cool but if it works why not? Probably a reason nobody does it.

I haven't had this done before. I believe the dealers have the necessary equipment but don't know how much they charge.

Any of the independent BMW shops offer this service?

I was quoted $1200 by Brian Jessel for this service. I'm also looking for alternative shops to perform this.

I'm still looking! I contacted most of the specialty BMW shops around GVA and no one does walnut shell blasting. They all do some sort of liquid variation but cannot garrentee the results and have never opened it up to check if it actually worked!

I'm still waiting if someone here has done it but it looks like we have a very small audience here compared to Toronto and or the US region pages
