N54 Valve Cover Gasket

Doing this myself... Is it recommended to use silicone on this gasket or no? Thanks

No, reason being is that you might clog up the crankcase ventilation passages. Someone has mentioned this before in a DIY.

None at all! A good rule of thumb is if the factory didn't use it, you won't need to either.

Haha, can I just add a can of stop leak to my oil man? Will that also fix my compression issue. On a real note, can't remember if you're MT or AT. If AT and need some help with flashing your TCU let me know. Got to play a bit more today and really like how my trans is shifting now.
