help - dropped a nail into the ecu housing area

When beginning the n55 stage 1 install I went to release the first sensor, after removing the left cover I dropped my sweet idea for a tool (a small nail) to depress and turn the sensor down into the area that holds the ECU. This area doesn't appear to be floating so I don't suspect that it will drop free even with driving. It looks like it funnels down to somewhere unreachable. Obviously this was a stupid ass decision. Will it drop free or can I reach it some how?

in between the white ecu case and the plastic housing it's seated in

(posted this in the turbo sub forum also to hopefully get quicker responses)

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger
