New Interior Carbon Trim!

Just ditched my wood trim for some carbon!

I couldn't stand that wood trim any longer and had to do something about it...it was ruining the whole look of my interior.

I didn't want to spend a ton of money buying a new trim set. So I had it wrapped in black carbon dinoc...best decision of my life second to buying a BMW

Asofi wrapped it for me, and it came out PERFECT! He's really reasonable and I highly recommend anyone looking to scrap their wood to hit him up...110% satisfied

Just in time for the new year!!!....

Ya I was really hesitant to have it wrapped thinking there would be imperfections and disappointment, but these pieces came out perfect, I mean I couldn't find a flaw if I tried...and i did try

The trim/accent piece on the lid of the center console is wrapped. That should be exposed.

Edit: Looks to be the same on the front console ashtray cover.

I don't think it's supposed to be exposed because it would be wood then. Looks nice!

No cbad35 is correct - the trim (bump you see on ashtray covers) is not wood - it's silver, and should be cutout when part is wrapped, not covered over...

see how the ash tray is totally wrapped, there is an actual trim (silver) on the cover alone which should be exposed. in this case, its fully wrapped.

fully wrapped looks good tho...

Check out these pics - you see the silver trim on both front & rear ashtray that is normally cut out when wrapping with vinyl - guy that did this wrap just went over them and did not cut out...

I see what you're saying, I like it better with it wrapped anyways, but is the trim wrapped in these photos ? Cause that looks like a trim replacement package, not a wrap job. Looks great but probably way more $$$

No it doesn't. It just looks like the job wasn't done correctly. It's like painting the doors and door handles the same color in your house.

Thinking of getting my trim also wrapped in carbon fiber, the trim has to be removed to wrap it?

Thanks..
