Anyone recommend any shops near downtown to get my brakes done? About a week ago my front left brake started smoking BADLY after a hard stop from traffic, ever since then it smells even right after I turn on the car and back out and apply my brake from leaving the garage... wanting to get it checked on how many mm is left on it and possibly get them all replaced.

Anyone know a shop that can update my CIC firmware besides the dealer? There's a bug that won't allow me to finish my map update unless its updated.

Place on car, sign off at CHP for free, remove after leaving CHP [at your own risk], send in dismissal fee, done.

Is anybody willing to pull a CEL code? I refuse to believe that after calling 3 indie shops in a row, that it takes $70-110 to connect the car to a computer for 5 minutes and tell me what hexadecimal code pops up.
