Valvetronic motor replacement unable to program
so recently I had to install new a new valvetronic shaft motor as it failed and gave me a crank no start. The new motor is installed but I am having trouble programming it. I had spent days trying to get it done via Ista+ but i kept running into an issue with Ista unable to recognize my car.
"The vehicle could not be identified successfully. Check vehicle interface and 'PAD active'." I was using an ENET cable changed all my EBIADAS settings and vehicle interface settings, scrolled through tons forums and watched countless videos and I was unable to find a fix. I then found out that my scanner tool has the ability to program a new valvetronic motor but now im running into this issue Ive looked over all connections and I am unable to determine why this is happening |

Just turn the car to accessory and within 15 seconds, pump the gas pedal 10 times to relearn the stops. You will hear it adjust. As for why you are having that problem with your scan tool… can’t help you there.

Regarding ISTA - does INPA work? Check that latency for the COM port is set to 1, and that the config in ISTA is set to Edibas settings.
Have you verified that there is indeed no voltage issue? The valvetronic relay is also known to go bad. |
