I read before that you got the Vert because you were sick of the 6MT in traffic. Was it worth the swap to an auto? I am currently debating between 6MT and a Step.

Simple, if you drive in traffic everyday, automatic is a must. If you are occasionally stuck in traffic, then 6mt will be fine. It just depends how patient/lazy you are. My job requires me to travel around socal at any given time so traffic was a real issue. Honestly, when there is no traffic, and I am driving late at night, I truely regret having an automatic. It's just personal preference. Also the automatic is MUCH smoother, you don't feel the shifts but some people can tie that into the "utlimate drivng experience." Hope that helps, cheers.
