Maybe a silly question, but is there a way to default/factory code all modules in Protool? I can only see how to process individual modules.
EDIT: Confirmed by Protool support; this is not possible. Last edited by Tambohamilton; 10-25-2021 at 02:22 AM.. |

I think you can do it in xHP app without buying the tune, once app downloaded, three little bars on top left, diagnostic and you will see the reset adaption. Not sure if it works or if you can do the reset in Protool..

I emailed them and confirmed that it can run the LPFP continuously by pressing the prime pump option and then not exiting the prompt in the app, so it continues to run.

Been playing with the guages. The Protool app just keeps getting better. Did some coding on the M5 as well, euro mdm and some other things.

I bought the diag and coding license and synced app, why does it say something about vehicle order not set, and when I try to create vehicle order I get a message that vehicle not connected, check ignition is ON... (I put key in and press startbutton, dash lights come on and a/c) I can't even read error codes, says not connected but I can turn on engine and get live data? 2010 e90 n54

Sorry if this was already asked...does the Protool app require an internet connection (Wifi) to work?

Is it possible to code the E90 rear fog lights to only illuminate one side, i.e. a single rear fog? (driver's side - left)
I assume the coding is in the Body Domain Module (BDM)? I already have the euro switch installed. |

Hello all, I recently installed the factory alarm hardware in my E90 and would like to activate the alarm via Protool. I have already done much coding to my E90, including angel eyes and folding mirrors. So my 2 questions are this:
1. Does anybody know whether the vehicle order $302 or +K302 will need to be added to activate the alarm (or both)? 2. Would I be able to make a backup of my CAS, FRM and KOMBI, modify the vehicle order (which would default these modules), and then upload the backups to the corresponding modules to retain the coding I have already done? I know this sounds like I'm being lazy, but I'd rather not have to code certain things like oil temperature again. |

It would be best to code it. A backup written over a default coded module with a new VO will erase the VO settings. When the new VO is added, the module reverts to factory options and anything you’ve coded is gone. When you write your back ups over the modules with new VOs, it will erase whatever options the new VO has, so no you cannot do that. What you can do is look up what needs to be coded in each module and manually code it. Instead of clicking “save to CAS and FRM”, click no (or whatever the app says and manually code settings in each module for the alarm VO. |

You should still save the new VO to CAS and FRM, but not default code the modules if you want to code them manually. So click yes to save vo to both modules, but no to default code subsequent modules.
