Race Ramps / Schwaben Ramp Experience
I've been eyeing a set of 2 piece 56" race ramps for a while, but I had a hard time justifying the cost (~$250). ECS is running a sale on their version right now at $165 that seems significantly more reasonable.
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-schwaben.../006143sch01a/ Does anyone have either the Race Ramps or Schwaben version of this? If so, is the 8" rise actually enough for most non wheel work on a creeper (oil changes, downpipes, etc.)? |

I have those from race ramps but mine are 10". Yeah, the clearance is plenty. I used them during my opg change, dp install, fmic, oil changes, coolant changes, motor mounts, transmission mounts, cdv, etc, etc. Very very handy and they weigh almost nothing compared to something similar in steel. I highly recommend them. Oh, and in Canada we can get them from home depot; they cost me around $600 Canadian, so even $250 USD sounds like a deal to me.

Plus the whole collapse and/or slip thing. The race ramps aren't just blown plastic from what I've seen. |

I have a set of those Rhino Ramps and have to put a piece of 2x4 in front of them so the bumper doesn’t rub. I have a base bumper on sport suspension.
