E93 Roof Top Control Module

Seems like a good product. Allows roof to be opened/closed while car is in motion. Does anyone have any experience of this company, or have one of these fitted? |

Hi
It certainly looks to be a cool product. Does the roof not open and close at slow speeds, upto 5mph, like my E46? I read somewhere the US version has to be stationary as the number plate is not visible during roof operation, is this also the case in the UK? If so would this then be illegal to use in the UK? My E93 is due in about 3 weeks hopefully! |

Looks good but I would think twice about operating roof on the move would not like to bend any of the roof mechanism, other functions are a yes to me, will look further to fit to my E93.

On the Z4 you could start to operate the roof when the car was stationary but as long as you kept your finger on the button, you could drive off and the roof would continue to open or close, until the operation was complete. I know the E93 takes a little longer than the Z4 and there are obviously more moving parts!
