Are all these $1k Coilovers the same?
Seems there are quite a few choices in the 1k range for coilovers. Are these all (just diff colors).
BC Sonic Megan K2 XYZ D2 Some of these kits seem to be well reviewed at this 'budget" price point. Wondering if any of these are better than the other.

CKS is another brand you can look up, its pricier but at least ///m guys run them Yellow Speed is another brand similar to XYZ/ BC/Ksport There is no perfect $1000 solution. You are buying a compromise. So look at e90 specific reviews or e82 ( same thing 90% of the time). Some of them make adjusting the rear height or dampening. Bonus points to any brand that has an ///M car running a set( BC racing are gaining popularity with e39. e60 and f10 are running CKS and BC) You may as well get the version with a Camber plate Look for ones that offer SWIFT spring as they can make up for shortcomings of the shock. Goodluck. ST coils and Vogland are cheap German quality but sometimes lack dampening adjustment. Also have no camber plates.

Also, i had a typo and meant to say that some of the kits make it Hard to adjust the rear for height or stiffness due to location of that control. Megans are made at the same place as BC's and they are also starting to offer SWIFT springs. I would find local & reputable dealers so that issues can be sorted locally

The types of features and quality should be comparable between those brands at that price range. To my knowledge though they are not all manufactured in the same facility.

+1 for BCs I for one have seen most of these in person and the BC's parts are very different. There are a lot of people that believe they are all made in the same place but I happen to know they have their own factory.
