feels like my wood trim's getting lame..

I steped in my car today and I felt like I was 50 yrs older looking at my wood trim. I didn't really like the silver trims so I didn't get it. I'm thinking about carbon fiber trim but interior is grey, and I thought it wouldn't go. If you guys have a pics of grey interior with carbon fiber trims put em up. Also what are my other options??? There was a guy that wrapped his in mirco fiber material and it looked pretty good. Alright guys start throwing some ideas in.

That's why I went with the Gray Poplar. The wood felt too old and refined, and while the aluminum looks sporty and all, I couldn't get comfortable with it.

The Euro's have the piano black trim, which imo looks real nice. If that were a USDM option, I'd probably have gone that way. someone did a DIY piano black on their wood trim (recently, run a search) and it came out awesome.

[edit]

Expensive, but CF and Black are both avaialble HERE

The best trim ever is that leather stitched c/f looking stuff that is an option on the new m3. One of the vendors on here was selling a version of that. I will for sure get that at some point

That's because it is lame.

Since you have gray interior, go with silver or titanium colored CF. I don't know if any vendor has some out yet, but it looks sick. It was available for E46s.

Go with the OEM black high gloss trim. Its like piano black but cheaper. It will go great with your gray interior.

Tischer (www.getbmwparts.com) has it for $515 shipped. Compare with their Piano Black ($1140) and CF trim ($1750).

but dood its so classy. it matches your leatherbound books that smell of rich mahogany. you would look silly wearing your tophat and monacle with aluminum or carbon fiber trim. your opera jacket wouldnt match either.

Im with KL2DC. High gloss black on grey interior would look very very good. Or you can just go all out with piano black.

i hate my wood trim (didn't order car, it was on the lot with all options already selected)... the high gloss from tischer is nice but it's still $515.
