BMW Headlights?
Hey guys,
In the market for a 335i used, probably 09 or so. I notice sometimes BMW's driving around and it looks like they have halogen lamps on during the day? Others i see, it looks like they have HIDs on during the day? Looking at descriptions of used cars, it looks like they all have HID lights. is this a mod i'm seeing? or what? thanks, total newb here.. cau |

If you're referring to the low-beam headlights, all 335is have HIDs stock. All e92s (3 series coupes) have HIDs as well. The only 3 series in the US market that do not have HIDs stock is the e90 328i/xi, but it is an option.

i leave my headlights on "auto" so the halogen DRLs are on during the day and the HIDs kick on when things get dark. people who turn the lights to the "On" position will have HIDs on during the day. that's my observation with my '08 e90.
def lots of mods out there though, too (e.g. brighter angel eyes, etc) enjoy matt |
