I keep mine for a long time (100K plus) and the added performance that the turbos provide is not worth the time and exspense long term in my opinion. The recalls on the original 335s help to make my point. Is see you have the pic of an Acura which are known to be very reliable 4 cyl engines that can last 150K plus with just minimal maintance. If your new purchase is a 335 and you plan to run to 100K and over, I hope you are ready to put aside some reserves for maintance as it is going to far exceed the cost of a Honda 4cyl for sure. Cheers,
Yeah I'm prepared to do so.

Having a few BMW mech. friends helps too

Garage List
redvitesse - I've been tossing around the idea of selling my '07 E90 328i recently, and it might fall into what you're looking for. It's a RWD, 6MT car in silver with black interior that was ordered with the sport package, heated seats, satellite radio, bluetooth, iPod adaptor and a moon roof. I picked the car up off lease 18 months ago, it's currently got 34800 miles on it, and it's covered under CPO warranty until the middle of 2013. The car is in very clean condition, with two minor mods; I swapped the headlights out with OEM halogen headlights from a 2009 LCI E90 to eliminate the orange front reflectors and add angel eyes, and replaced the stock tail lights with OEM blackline tail lights. The only real issue with the car, if you will, is a scuff on the front bumper cover from a careless valet parking attendant.

I was thinking about asking a bit north of 20k for the car..

Hi - I think I'm ready to sell my 2006 330i. Silver, manual, with all the options except Cold weather package. It has less than 51k miles and only a short shifter and BMS power box for mods. Almost excellent condition in and out.
PM me if interested. I'm in Geneva, IL.

Thanks,
Mic

Long time BMW owner (Roadfly Mostly) but new to this forum as I am looking to buy an E90 or E92.

Would prefer <40k miles.

Must be manual (all we own)

Rear wheel drive is prefered.

Not to picky on colors but condition is what is important.

Thanks for taking a look.

I'm surprised you still haven't found the car.

I bought a 2006 330i fully loaded (AW with lemon leather) with 80K km (49K miles) on it over 3 years ago for CAD $24,000.

I'd imagine 06 330s should be under 20K easily these days.

I am a little picky for sure but there have been some near misses. A good one got sold out from under me back in December on the boards and I missed an 08 E90 with 20K miles Black on Black with sport with navi back in January by a day at a dealer in Michigan sold for $23,000.

This month I missed out on a really nice 09 White on Black coupe with sport and navi from a fellow board member that was selling his lease. He was originaly asking a high $29,000 back in November and by the time I circled back and he had come to his senses with price he was 8 days out from lease turn in.

I see alot of dealers pricing E92 328's within a $1,000 of 335's right now and that is just nuts to me, especialy since they are less than clean paint wise.

Lucky for the mild winter this year in Chicago and a 15 minute walk to work because the search is taking a long time for sure. When I bought my E39 7 years ago the search last 3 months but at least there were some cars to look at within a 1 hour drive. Trying to stay positive but I am starting to feel like

I feel your pain. I'm looking for an e93 335 and it looks like it's going to be a long search with the colours I'm looking for.

I'd be happy with the cars you've already got in your signature!

Good luck in your search. It's out there somewhere!
