FS Wavetrac Limited Slip Differential
For sale a Wavetrac LSD, item 30.309.175WK. $800 It is a "small pumpkin" model and fits only 9/07 and up 335i automatics. It fits other models as well, you can find the full application list here: http://www.wavetrac.net/application.htm It has been inspected buy Wavetrac, and is in perfect shape, still in the box along with their inpection receipt. I am selling this for a buddies wife that bought it here this past summer, and passed away from a heart attack before installing. This the one performance mod he could while under warranty. |

Wow, that is some sad news...
Let's get this sold guys, I'm sure the money will be a huge help given the circmstances. I'm sure it won't take long with such a great price! Wish I had the $$.. GLWS! Tip - Since you're new it might help to upload a pic with your E90 user name and your cell # written on paper next to the item. |

I can obviously vouch for the OP, as it left my hands after being inspected directly by Wavetrac. It was a huge shock when I heard this sad news. I really hope this will be a fast sale as well, it's a great price.

I really wish I could tell you, but the size difference is fairly negligible, you can barely tell unless it's next to the other one. I might have some pictures comparing the two, I think the front nose is significant enough that you might be able to tell. That being said, your best bet would be to call Harold@HPA or Tischer BMW and give them your VIN and/or production date and see if they can help you out.

For what it's worth, the specific cutoff on RealOEM is 9/07. If you browse parts for 8/07, it gives you the larger pumpkin. If you browse 9/07, it gives you the smaller pumpkin (this one). Worst case scenario, I can sell you my longer driveshaft sitting in my closet But I think you'll be okay.

As andrew posted, there are no welded autos, just a different pumpkin size.

I haven't been monitoring this thread very well, but 2 people have PM'd me on it. If anyone is worried, I will return their money if it isn't what they think it is- not trying to make any money, just trying to help his wife out- thanks everyone.
