Some updates (Ikon 4D carbon vinyl, gauge mods, red, & P3)

Just ended winter break and wanted to post up some of the mods I got done while I was home. Although all are pretty minor I do think they are great. Mods I did were wrap the roof (not pictured) and interior trim with the Ikon 4d Carbon Fiber vinyl, install a P3 gauge, swap out the LED's on my gauge to white, red needles, silver M3 gauge rings, and changed the grey strip on my spoiler to red to match the red theme.

I also have M3 side skirts with cf extensions but those are being installed while i'm gone and coming soon is a custom gauge face (pictured below), and custom floor mats from Autostyle over in UK. For the mats i'm doing normal black with silver trim and red stitching.

Edit: Also forgot to mention finally switched out my radar detector for a escort max 2 with a blendmount for the mirror

Edit 2: Found these iPhone pics of the roof

Edit 3: My buddy sent me some more pics

Wait that's vinyl? Holy guacamole that looks tremendous.

And to think you were going to part the car out not long ago!

Thanks it was pretty easy if you've soldered before. Can't wait to throw on the custom gauge faces in March

I know that vinyl is nuts. Looks like the real thing. If only I had my friend take some good shots of the roof... I'm gonna text him and see if he got any.

Hahaha yup it's crazy realized nothing comparable I could get for the price so might as well keep modding.

Gorgeous. That vinyl is legit. I always hated CF vinyl roofs but that's beautiful.

^+1. CF vinyl roofs always looked tacky IMO but since yours is wet CF, it looks sick!

The new mods look great too btw. Thanks for sharing

Does the P3 gauges interfere with the COBB setup? I have heard it does with JB4 setups.

Nope cobb doesn't affect obd port so it works flawlessly

If you could do it all over again, would you use the ikon wraps 4d carbon for the roof, or the 3m di-noc?

Honestly the mirrors might be tough... Although it is easy to manipulate with heat, the material is extremely thick. I haven't worked with di-noc in a while but from what I remember the thickness feels like that. Def not as thin as 1080.

Hahaha I know the winters look like shit the way they are. Being away at school though it barely gets driven so not worth the spacers. New wheels next spring should fit perfectly

100% 4d. I would never do the roof carbon with di-noc because it doesn't look like the real thing and I don't like it. This vinyl looks like the real cf M3 roofs so is perfect

Interior is tough. I loved the look of the di-noc cause it looked like the M3 carbon leather. At first I thought I wouldn't like the 4d but it's cool and looks like the real thing. Depends what look you're going for.
