You would put in on the other side of the coolant line, because the TD04 center core is level, so you need a level water line to match. The stock TD03 center core is cast with a lip, such that it matches the existing coolant line perfectly. I hope you get the idea: put the spacer on the other side, not where your arrow is.

And make sure you do NOT tighten the coolant line stud too much !

Thanks for the reply, I am assuming you mean "other side" as the other end (to the block)? Because it seems the built in spacer is welded in....I am probably not understanding correctly here lol!! If the OEM spacer is pressed/welded on how would I get it on the other side of where my Arrow is pointing?

Your water pipe picture has a hole on which the stud/screw comes in to tighten the pipe to the center core. You put the spacer under that hole (looking from above the pipe), in order to level the pipe end.

Just put the pipe on the RB turbo and you will notice where the spacer should be put in order to be able to tighten the pipe correctly on the turbo...

Like this, I get what you are saying now, there are 2 spacers (1 for bolt stud & 1 for the line)....the upper line is made to seat into the stock turbo ( longer) so when you put the lines in on the RB flat flange there is a gap because it can not sink in.
