Remote not unlocking or locking drivers door

Hi there,
On our E90 2007 320i ....I am assuming the motor that locks/unlocks the drivers door has given up the ghost.........
Question is do you take the car to dealership, autoelectrician?
Someone suggested a place in Brisbane called Brisbane Motor Works?

Thanks for your advice In Advance

Adam

Try changing the fuse...had a similar issue of all doors not locking/unlocking. Replaced the fuse and all was good.

yeah Kash 0 hit the nail on the head, good chance your door lock actuator fuse has gone. If i recall its fuse #57, BMW did issue a service bulletin to replace the 15AMP with a 20AMP fuse if it does blow.

Is the 20 amp mini fuse horizontal in orientation just above the bank where #57 sits a spare?

I remember reading a SIB on this a while ago, they actually upped the amperage of the fuse as a first part of diagnosis.
