First start the car see if the lap top is showing revs in the RPM box. then shut down the car bring back the warning light screen, go to file upper left on the lap top menu then select upload firmware.
A loading indicator will appear on the lower left of the menu counting off the files loaded & will indicate a load or fail at the end. Can be up to 5 minutes to load depending on the hardware.

Thank you guys so much! Finally figured it out, it was the fact that i only hi the start button once and not the second time to turn on all the lights on the dash. anyways downloaded the new firmware and im running on map 6. WOW!!!! is all i can say, def feels significantly more powerful then map 2 that i was running.

You should just email terry if you need help. He's always right there ready to help. The instructions on N54Tech are very good too. You'll get it and will want to stay up in the latest developments.

I run Map 5....will have to try Map 6 today. Map 5 definitely pulls harder than Map 2 and has a much smoother curve IMO. We'll have to see about Map 6 this morning.
