Z4M Coupe. They're around 30k, and have been around 30k for a few years now. Very limited production so they probably won't depreciate much more than that. Really fun to drive, reliable and still looks great. That and it's playboy's 2007 car of the year!

I don't care how limited that car is. It is not worth $15k more than it was new. Wasn't msrp on those $46k new?

Nothing new or close two it in that price range. There are some classics you could get like a nice Porsche 356 or longhood 911 and you wouldn't lose a dime. The Z3 and Z4 M Coupes are a good bet as well. All of these require a certain kind of person to run as daily drivers.

For a conventional daily driver, I'd get an off-lease 3-series or C-class that's still under warranty. Nothing to run, popular enough to be easy to sell for decent money in a year or two. My E46 325i sold for $3500 less than I paid for it after two years, and honestly I could have gotten more.

Honda Accord, buy 3 of them.
But as everyone else stated, better to get a used car or lease.

There is a very unlikely car that match your needs.
Nissan GTR
I have never seen a car depreciate so slow ever.
They were originally MSRP $70k, and the cheapest used GTR on the market right now is one with 80k miles and is selling for $55k.
With 1-2 years on the car they still retain 85-90% of its value.
Its Insane.

Cheapest I've seen a used one is $48k. Instant classic I suppose. They wouldn't be asking so much if they weren't selling for that much. I've never seen anything like it.

If you're in the states a land rover defender 90. They do not depreciate. Only sold here a few years, 1996 is the last year over here.

Simple buy car that's Already taken a depreciation hit (used) like an older 911 turbo or gtr and you should be able to sell it for relatively close to what you payed for it

Z4M for half the money should retain most of its value.

a 997 TURBO (its important) should also retain good residual value (it will still loose some).
