Next mod... Lci tail light retrofit or m3 steering wheel?
If you had to choose one, which one would you get? E92 lci tail light retrofit or m3 steering wheel with DTC paddles?
Lci tail light pros- led lights, modern look compared to the pre lci tail lights. Can only be noticed outside M3 steering wheel pros- better feeling steering wheel, ergonomic. Noticeable every time you drive the car. Discuss. |

M3 steering wheel. You enjoy it every time you drive. You can only enjoy the lights when you're outside the car. It's mainly for everyone else's viewing pleasure.

M3 wheel and DCT paddles are awesome, so much better than the normal wheel and paddles, I would do that first. I honestly don't think the LCI tails are much of an upgrade and not worth the cost.

I love my sport steering wheel so LCI tails 100%.
If I had the non-sport wheel it would be a tough call, but I would still go with the LCI tails |

Dude, I just purchased an M3 tri-stitched steering wheel because im going to get a 6spd conversion next month. ITS AMAZING. oem paddle steering wheel sucks /facepalm WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY. Now I can drift around roundabouts without getting annoyed with the pointless paddle shifters lol
At first I got lost between this: 2012 mtech sport steering wheel perforated/ w/o tristitchings /w paddles and this: M3 tristitched steering wheel w/o paddles And since I was going to make my car 6spd soon, getting a steering wheel with paddles was pointless. And paddles annoyed the hell out of me. And the tri-stichings... are SO APPEALING. The napa leather is amazing too. So I went with the tri stitched m3 tri stitched leather steering wheel After I wrapped my trims in silver CF Get the wheel man, Its something you experience each time you drive the car.. The lights are cool, but steering wheel > lights.

LCI trail, but if you think you need to pay someone to code it out, then it would be extra cost and hassle, may be going with m3 steering wheel would be easier for you now.
