I ain't gonna waste my keypad on you any more dude. You have no idea what your talking about, forget quarters as it seems the Denzil has the slight edge anyway, as a sports/performance road car the E46 M3 wins hands down against 335's.
But I'll probably have a E92 M3 soon and turn the E46 into a track weapon. |

I take that back, I appreciate your opinion and I'm sorry if I've offended mate.
Just having owned both cars for a long while the older car is a better drivers/track car. |

One thing i do agree with you is that the E46 is a great driving car. I have a E46 325i as a runaround vehicle. It aint that quick and its quite thirsty for what it is BUT its always a gives me a great enjoyment when driving it. |

Noone seemed to mention that the 35d is torque limited in 1st & 2nd gear so you cant take full advantage of all that grunt till you hit 3rd and by then you've gone past 60 anyway , remapped and the torque limiting is even more brutal
The real advantage of the remapped 35d and it's where not many cars can do better is unfortunately illegal in the UK |

Your right mate, I out launched a C63 AMG in my 335d up untill 75mph, and it wasn't like the C63 had a bad run, it did 12.7@111mph with a 1.9 60ft. They don't run much quicker than that eh. He hooked up very well.
Edit I must add he came tanking past at 80mph ish |

There is vids on Youtube of me doing 12.7's at The BMW Show last year and against a hideous headwind too. Not sure why there is doubters tbh mate?
12's in this day in age isn't that quick unfortunately and I would even stick my neck out and say that a properly well driven auto M135i would get mighty close as you can launch them better for a start. Manual JB4 135i should easily be low 13's with the right driver behind the wheel.. |
