Upgraded my foglights to LED - DIY video by Bimmette
I almost never use them but I upgraded my old halogen fog lights to LED bulbs. Looks a lot better! Sorry I don't have a link to share as the vendor isn't selling them anymore but they are on eBay.

How hot does the resistor get? Is it fine to let the resistor hang between the trim and bumper, or would it be better to attach it to something

If you want to be extra safe, you can attach it to something metal, as it does get warm. But personally I thought it would be fine hanging. I also don't use mine for long periods of time though.

Jeeez guys dont get a fukkin external resistor-mounted LED (total fire hazard)... get one of the MANY, including the cheapies, that do NOT produce bulb out warnings
No resistor. No problem. $35 iirc. |
