not sure why people order the more expensive versions of the same thing.. They are all the same.

Thanks to this posting I ordered one as well. My questions is though (I think I only saw a couple ppl on this thread ask this but no real answer) is where do you guys place it. Flush or 1/4 inch in?? I'm leading towards the flush mount

So is everyone installing with 3M Double sided tape or is there a better method? I would feel the double sided tape would make it stick up a little bit extra no?

i also purchased this spoiler for $60 , for my space gray 335i coupe and the color match was really good and it fits great also, i was really surprised honestly and the shipping only took 4 days even though the ebay auction states that it was shipping from Taiwan to San Diego.

Front Splitters too
I ordered the $59 spoiler in BSM from emotors2000 and it was spot on in color, fit and finish. The e-bay seller just started selling painted splitters for the E90 LCI. I just ordered those. Fingers crossed.

I asked. The $104 is for the unpainted splitters. Emotors2000 created the auction for the painted version after i asked. I ordered the first one for $149. Just got a message saying that it will take 3-5 days to paint and a tracking no. would issue when it shipped...

keep us updated on the fitment and such when you get them. maybe start a thread for those seeing that this is 15 pages for the spoiler.

Damn. Burnt an extra $100 going elsewhere. I can vouch for the spoiler tho, it's legit for the price you pay.

Splitters
Got them today. Weather in Chicago blows so install will have to wait. The paint is flawless (BSM), just like it was for the spoiler. I did a rough test fit with one side and it appears to be a perfect fit. Came with a roll of double sided automotive tape. I'll take pics of the install when we get some sun.

He used to have individual listings by color, now it is just a single listing and then you add your paint code when ordering in the order comments. I received mine a couple weeks ago. Received it in just a few days after ordering. Even beat an amazon shipment I ordered. Did my best to measure it out 1/4" from the edge the entire way across. The tape really holds well. First day I could kinda wiggle the edges a bit, but now it seems solid. Best 59 dollars spent on my car so far. Last edited by strobe89; 11-08-2012 at 08:17 PM.. Reason: Uploaded smaller images. |
