Yo,

New here. Ordered 335i coupe last month (black sapphire, coral red, manual, aluminum, and just all-around badass). Went to the dealer today and after some problem with the computer system, I was told that my vehicle is at the port in Germany today.

Holy S, is this really going to happen? After reading all the previous replies, I wonder when it's actually going to arrive. This has been the longest 4 weeks of my life, I joined 3 BMW forums, I test drove the manual today (I broke a sweat), this car is all I think about, the MANIA is official.

Any idea what ship I might be on? It seems some of you guys know more than my dealer.

Oh and....this website is awesome.

EDIT: Crap ur in cali..diff schedule on west coast..if you read the ulimate delivery thread theres ways to find those..they use the NYK vessels
heh that was quick..and cool my arrived at port 2 today..after reading all these posts from others some have been at port for weeks..which sucks!!!! but the next ships leave on the 23rd, 27th..... but idk if we will make any of those...we just have to wait and c...lol and dont worry 4-7 weeks isnt bad..some have actually waited the actual 3 months or rare even 4!

but if you get on a ship please say so.

My completion date is supposed to be the 23rd also. If you look at the W&W shipping website, they have ship schedules. East coast trips usually take between 11 to 14 days. But you'll have to factor in how many days it takes to get on board a ship (some people on this board have waited more than a week), how many days it sits at the VPC in Jersey, and how many days it takes for your dealer to receive/prep the car. If we're extremely lucky we can get on the boat that departs Bremerhaven on the 27th.

dude i placed my order early this month and the status still says "ON ORDER"!!

im not too worried tho, im not in a rush. in fact this long wait with the crappy lease numbers i got are making me swing to porsche and audi dealerships hehe

It's not looking good for me......After 7 days at port I don't think I made it on the UNDINE. The 800# still says at port awaiting a vessel. Hopefully I'll get on the 23rd. What about the rest of the folks that were hoping to get on yesterday - Any good news?

The 1 800 number says my e93 is "in transit" while the OC says it is "en route". Sounds like that means it is already on a ship. No? If so , it happened pretty quick. Reached Bremerhaven Monday the 16th.

Ordered June 19, production complete July 13.

Yep your on the ship! That is an awesome turn around!! I ordered May 25th and mine is still sitting there at the port.

Yes, I just found out it is on K-Line's Frisia arriving in Charlston August 2.

Damn, that's quick.

A search on the name Frisia shows that it's a one funnel two mast ship that was scrapped in 1902.

Nice. How did you find out what ship you were on? My dealer states that DCSnet doesn't tell him what ship my car's on. My car finished production on the 4th and arrived at the port on the 6th. I am pretty sure I am now not on WW, because my VIN number doesn't register on their site, so I think I am also on a K-Line ship.

I have a feeling that I am on either the Leverkusen Express (departed on the 11th) or the Bremen Express (departed on the 17th), if the K-Line ships still go to New York as well.

Can anyone find out for me if I pm my vin?

Assuming you're on a boat your CA should be able to find out. AS for the W&W site my VIN didn't show up for 4 days or so after the boat left.

If you want to find out your status without going through all of the voice recognition, you can press 2 when she first comes on for "Vehicle Production Status," then when she starts asking for your Production Number or last seven digits of your VIN type it in, and finally when she asks if that was a VIN or a production number press 1 for Production Number and 2 for VIN. She tells you those options if she has continuous trouble understanding you.

And also BTW, make sure on owners circle you actually click the link on the main page to get to the flash page. The main page seems to not change (i.e. it still says "On Order" when the flash page says "En Route").

For those of you that are waiting at port for like days and weeks or w.e does ur status say awiating vessel when u call..thats what mines says and mayby it will be on next shiP!!!???

yep, I kept hearing "waiting at the port for a shipping vessel" or something like that from 7/13 to 7/19. Now it says its in transit, which i guess means its on a ship. Going to call my CA monday to confirm this and find out which ship its on.

just checked. it says my car's been scheduled for production
took them 3 weeks to start production. I hope there are more delays on my car tho hahah. makes it more exciting
