? e90 Msport mixed with BMW performance line...
Hey guys,
As some of you already know, I picked up a set of OEM BMW Perf. style 313s (19) a few weeks ago for my e90 335i Msport LCI. I thought I'd be happy with just those and call it a day...lol. Well, that didn't last very long and now I want to complete the Performance Line transformation...at least the exterior and exhaust. Car: e90 335i Msport (6 speed manual) LCI / AW Currently: BMW stage 1 PPK, Perf. style 313s (19), and Perf. gloss grills Ordered: Perf. side skirts, rear diffuser and performance exhaust. I actually prefer the Msport front so not ordering the perf. front bumper. The only thing I am not 100% about is to whether to paint the rear diffuser piece AW as shown in the picture below, or just leave it black?!?!? Opinions? Sorry for the little teaser...will update thread as parts arrive and get installed. For those who haven't seen the perf. side skirts (the < 1% of you ), see below:

I say paint the diffuser white like the pic. Not as much E90's with that look.

I would get it painted unless you get the performance spoiler as well. If that were the case I'd match it with a cf diffuser.
I have the performance side skirts on mine, love them. |

Get it painted. The Performance E90 LCI is gorgeous. I agree though, the performance front bumper isn't my favorite.

Thanks for the feedbacks fellas. U have convinced me to paint the diffuser. Do u guys recommend taking off my gas cap for color match with AW? Is that necessary?

I'd say leave it black depending on what color your car is
Edit: Just saw that you have an AW so definitely leave it black. It contrasts so well. |

Yea, I agree, especially for mine since it's black. It makes it distinct but subtle at the same time. BTW, you can check out how an msport front with the pref sides look in my first pic, since that's what your going for as well.

Here's another argument for painting the rear diffuser (courtesy of JZ's always stunning photography):
