Smile What we BROKE Today: 400WHP!

Actually a bit over 400whp

This compares today's run with a run taken nearly approx 1 year ago when the car was stock. Same dyno. Reasonably similar conditions. Identical test procedure.

For those who question the correction method, here are the results SAE corrected:

and Uncorrected:

FWIW, this wasn't even our highest run. The best peak numbers from todays tuning session came from this run:

It was early in the tuning process so boost curve is a little bumpy with boost taper occurring too early (6700rpm).

Full Disclosure:
Today's runs were on 98 octane, not 91oct pump gas. These results are with stock downpipes/stock primary cats. We will be installing catless downpipes as soon as we get them from Riss Racing. That means that the only exhaust mod is our cat-back which replaces the secondary cats. We are still running the stock intercooler and diverter valves as well. We are playing around with a custom intake design but have yet to quantify its effects. Still too busy with PROcede mapping to get to that point just yet. We figured you guys just wanted to know what the car is capable of given just over 1 year of development time. I'm guessing that there is still another 20-30whp in there too v2 baby.
Cheers,
Shiv

Now go beat the crap out of the car running those levels for 6 months and let us know if anything actually breaks, this what the people really need to know, what the true limit is for a daily driver!! NICE NUMBERS THOUGH!!!

Good job on the 400! Was with the regular V2 map, or did you use special mapping to take advantage of the higher octane?

FWIW, we've been running this around for the last 5 weeks. I've driven it. Dustin has driven it. Even a few customers have used it as a "loaner" for a few days at at time. We knew it was fast. We just didn't know it was making that much power.

catm3-- The PROcede map we are using is very similar to the v2.0.2 map that we will be posting up later this week. It is even running the exact same default torque values (80-90% in the low end/midrange and 100% above 6000rpm). We did make some changes to account for the extra octane, among other things. FWIW, we are controlling another engine function right now (more than just boost, afr target and timing). We have yet to determine if its necessary though. If it is, it'll be a simple firmware/wire loom update. If not, not. We still have more testing to do.

Im pretty sure the car will be stout.

Ive been running procede for about 1 year in my car. Ive put 14k miles with procede on, beat the crap out of my car everytime i drive it.

I have friend that runs nothing but 100 octane tune on his evo boosting 26 psi, daily driver.

I think if you have the octane to compensate for the tune then you shouldnt have problems with the engine.

The tranny is another thing.

+1000... Shell doesn't have 98octance where I live. I know we've seen dyno's on 91 octane. Could we get a refresher dyno on 91 or 93 octane with most recent version of V2? Looking forward to my time for V2.
